These two days are kind of important in my family. First, my brother got married yesterday, the wedding ceremony was hold at Taichung Source'首璽,加賀', and today is the first engagement anniversary with my wife, Sonya.
Actually, yesterday was so long a day, since my brother's wife was from Taipei, we leave our house to Taipei at 7:45 am arrive Taipei Tin-An's house around 11:00am. Weather was so nicem, after firecracker firsing around, we are highly welcomed by Tin-An's parents and relatives. Most of time I was holding DVs recording all details happened during this period in this new couple's new suite. Professional photographers were taking photos and videos all the time, afraid to miss all the movement and lovely pose from the splendent bride. I can't tell her deep mind emotion through the maked up face, until the time we say goodbye to Bride's parents. That means we, from the bridegroom side, official take their daughter away. That was really a very sensibility moment, we were all silence and concentrate to watch this new couple acting at this turnning point at their life time. No word can fully describe my feeling, even I had been this process before, but I can feel the connection between my brother and I and may understand a bit of how my parents feel.
At 11:45 am, we left tge brige's house and back to my family. Due to traditional auspicious hour, we suppose to arrive at home no earlier than 15:00 pm. The trafic was fine we had plenty of time and even had a short rest at highway resting point. Again, we arrived home with firecracker sound. My parents, sister and wife were not supposed to meet the bride when she got into the door, they can meet her after we guide this new couple into the new house and finish the 'bedding' process, another chinese traditional. Then, they came down to ground floor and hold another process to let my ancestries aware that a new member had joined into the Ko's famaily. Followed this was more photo taking to catch all the movement and events on this new couple.
The dinner was a 'bit' delayed to 19:20 pm. So sorry for all the guests but I believe they shold experience a very wonderful night. Guests are including my parents' friends, our relatives and my brother's teacher, friends and vice president of the hospital he works at. From my parents' eyes I can tell how happy they are and also the vibration that my brother will not stay with us after married but stay at Taipei. Leave this point at now, the dinner party was so joyful.
I was totally exhausting and fell a sleep few seconds after touch bed, still I rememberd to say 'happy anniversary' to my wife who was also tired after all of this. Shall I take her for dinner tonight for the celebration of anniversary? I think I should.
